Validation of nuncupative will, 1914 March 2.

The will of Robert Calf, made orally on April 12, 1719, sworn to by three of the witnesses on May 4, 1719, in what is attested to be a true copy by the Registry of Probate, Boston, on March 2, 1914, and signed by Clara L. Power, Assistant Register. In the will, Calf bequeathed his entire estate to his wife Mary Calf, to be divided after her death among their children. Witnesses were John Bowles, Philip Thompson, Isaac Williams, and Edmund Weld; the document in which they swore to the validity of the will was also signed by judge Samuel Sewall. With this document is an envelope with the Registry of Probate as return address, dated March 2, 1914 and addressed to George Lincoln Burr, The President White Library, Cornell University.
